The Present Years

It started from the day I entered University of the East. My first day in UE was very funny. I came to school holding my registration form, but the problem was I didn’t know where to go. I entered the Recto gate and I looked for the CCSS building. So I walked and walked until I reached the Gastambide gate. Then from there I asked the guard where to go but unluckily he didn’t know where it is too. Again, I walked towards the parking area, and it was where I saw this sign, that says “College of Computer Studies and Systems”. So I went to the building, but I didn’t know where to enter, so I went upstairs and saw these three guards standing and chatting there. So I asked them how to proceed to the room that our class will be held. Finally, I arrived at my class, but the professor was not yet there. There were still vacant seats, so I sat at the middle where no one else was sitting. While we were waiting for the professor to show up, three students entered the room and there were no available seats except for the chairs that are beside me. So I waived at them to tell them to occupy those seats and they did. From that time on we became friends or so called “barkadas”.  At the first day I never thought of trying to court someone, so my seatmates and I started to make friends with the girls that were seated in front of us. Some of our classmates that aren’t seated close to us came just to ask the number of this beautiful girl in front of us. A lot of them also tried to court her, but they really never did any good. The next day was the time that I was amazed with the beauty that this girl possesses, so I asked for her number, while asking for her number I said some humorous words to strengthen my chances with this girl. Then from that day onward, we have been chatting on the phone, on the internet and even through text. Twelve days from the first day, we started to enter into a deeper and meaningful relationship. We have been through a lot of good times and bad times, but never did any of those bad times ruin our relationship. We have also learned so much from each other. Things you won’t even thought of thinking. Our relationship grew so much. It grew from nothing to everything. We shared all the moments together. A lot of fights occur between us, but it didn’t destroy our relationship, it even made our relationship stronger. Stronger that no man can ever destroy. Real love was the reason why we survived all the trials. Love was the greatest thing that we shared. We celebrate every 26th of the month. Sometimes we eat on restaurants, sometimes we watch movies and sometimes we just celebrate at her home. We gave gifts to each other. She is my “LIFE”. If not with her, I won’t be able to realize that the quote that says “Being intelligent is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration” is not true, because for me “Being intelligent is 1% perspiration and 99% inspiration”. She made me realize how

My Teenage years…

I started my Teenage years with a blast, a blast of my first year of being a High School Student. I really don’t know what to do then, because I was new to it. But because I knew so many students that also graduated on our school, I still had fun. Our first days were really a headache, because we move to another room to make adjustments. But the room wasn’t still good enough for our class due to some reasons. Finally we had our permanent room. But before we moved my friend and I wanted to join the COCC so that we’ll be able to be an officer by 2nd year. There we were, we joined them and attended orientations at first. Time passes we have learned so much from being a COCC and trained so hard to be able to reach the expectations of the higher ranking officers. We have bonded really well with the officers but after many months, stress hit me with a really big blast, telling my mind not to attend after school trainings because of the hard punishments that the higher ranking officers have been commanding us. It was December of S.Y. 2000-2001 when I decided to quit being a COCC. Then after 1 month, A change of the commandant happened. The new commandant declared that, the 1st year COCCs will be an officer for the next school year. It made me so disappointed, to hear that. At the 2nd and 3rd year of my High School life, I have been trying to go back and be an officer again. But after some orientations, I decided not to join anymore because of the new faces in the Corps. But at the end of my 3rd year, I was thinking about it again. But now I decided to go on and do it for good. Because I am incoming 4th year so I’ll still be having it. But I don’t have power with my decisions, which is why I did it. My 4th year was my best year in High school, because I learned HTML and became a high ranking officer. I have never been demoted, because of the duty I have been showing everyone in the corps. At that time I thought CAT as a subject for my batchmates. I never excel that good in high school but one thing made me show myself how good I am in being a leader. Our CAT corps even trained for the “CAT Drills Competition” at area E. I have loved CAT so much. That is why I graduated as a c/Major Timothy John M. Gonzalez.

My Childhood Years…

When I was a kid, I live at BF Homes Parañaque. Together with my whole family, my Mom, my Dad and my 3 older Brothers. I first school I went to was St. James School of Parañaque and started to study at the age of 5 (kinder). I enjoyed so much studying there because we had these big lot behind our building, it was the place where we used to play and also we have a playground and our waiting area was big too. Well that was my years in preparatory. I also took my 1st grade there but eventually I have to move at Don Bosco Technical Institute, Makati, because when we were at our 1st grade, we studied subjects that are for the students of the 2nd grade. In short, all our books are for grade 2 of the other schools. But I still had to finish my 1st grade there for me to enter another school at the right school year. But badly, Don Bosco do not allow new students to enter elementary by not starting at grade 1. So I had their entrance examination, the funny thing is I’m so much advanced compared to the other students, that is why after the test I shouted “Ano ba naman ito pang prep!” (hehehe…). I got in at Don Bosco, I stayed there for 4 years. Before I got to my 3rd grade we moved at makati because my Mom and Dad got separated. I haven’t had my 5th grade there because after my 4th grade, we moved again. It was at Cubao, that is why I spend my 5th and 6th year at Immaculate Conception Parish Elementary School, Cubao. I graduated there at the S.Y. 1999-2000. And I continued my High School at that school too. But it was converted to Immaculate Conception Cathedral School, because our church was converted to a Cathedral. At my 5th & 6th grade, I was really lazy. I have really bad grades. But then I never failed. I also won a Gold medal at the “Shot-put” on the Battles of the Schools of Mapsa area E. Well, these were my childhood years. I suggest you read my teenage years. Bye!
